Principal Update

As we bid farewell to 2023, it’s with great joy and reflection that we look back on a year filled with growth, achievements and cherished memories. The journey has been extraordinary and together, we’ve woven a tapestry of experiences that define the unique spirit of our College.

As I reflect and think of this year, I think about how we came together and strengthened through so many College events. At  Orientation Day, we welcomed new faces into our family, setting the stage for a year of discovery and camaraderie. Grandparents Day was a heart-warming celebration, bridging generations and strengthening the bonds that make our community so special. The vibrancy of our Carnivals echoed through the campus, showcasing not only athletic prowess but also the unyielding spirit of unity.

The stage came alive with the magic of our Musical Madagascar Junior, while our Awards Ceremonies shone a spotlight on the diverse talents and accomplishments of our students. The thrill of the Maths Team Challenges and Quizzes, the strategic brilliance of Chess Competitions, and the fierce determination displayed in various sport events highlighted the intellectual and athletic prowess of our students.

We take immense pride in announcing that several of our teams not only made it to the finals but emerged victorious, bringing home well-deserved accolades. Such triumphs are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship instilled in our students by our exceptional staff and coaches.

Beyond the academic and athletic realms, our college has been a hub of community events that have enriched the lives of our students, parents and staff alike. The connections forged in 2023 extend beyond the classroom, creating a tapestry of relationships that form the foundation of our vibrant community.

There is so much to be excited about in 2024, but until then, let us not forget the true meaning of Christmas. As we approach the festive season, let us carry the spirit of togetherness into the holidays, and be reminded about the ultimate gift we have all received, Jesus Christ. May the joy of Christmas fill your hearts with warmth and laughter, and may the New Year bring continued success, growth and happiness to each and every member of the Heights College family.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Bring on 2024!

With gratitude and anticipation,

Karen Bredenhann
