Heights College aims to not only identify, but to develop the skills and talents of the students. A wide range of abilities exist, and in order to cater for these, a range of programs have been established to cater for not only those students requiring learning support, but those who require extension.
Learning Support and Intervention – Students on an EAP or needing significant modification and support are able to work with the College’s Educational Support Teacher, teacher aides, and significant others in both one-on-one and small group contexts. This support may occur in in-class and withdrawal settings.
Homework Centre – Students may avail themselves of the opportunity to work after hours with teachers in a range of subject areas. Homework centre is available to all Secondary students.
